Ordering an item from Acropolis Books? We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Acropolis Books offers prompt and speedy shipping through our exclusive distributor – DeVorss and Company, located in Camarillo, CA.  

Calculating Cost Shipping cost is based upon weight of order, zone and method of shipping.  We offer 3 standard choices for shipping.  UPS, Priority Mail or 4^th class Media Mail.  For International orders or RUSH AIR shipments, please contact DeVorss at service@devorss.com.

Delivery Time All orders are shipped from CA zip code 93012.  Most orders are shipped within 1-2 business days. Delivery time varies depending upon shipping method and destination. 

US Postal Service Transit Times  
 
Approximate transit times for each US Postal Service shipping method are listed below.

• Priority U.S.: 2 to 6 business days after shipping (This also applies to Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories however, may be on the longer side of the time table.)

* Media Mail U.S.:  This method is 4^th class through the post office and delivery time varies.  It is the least expensive method to ship, however it also may take 2-6 weeks for delivery depending upon postal handling. (Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories may take longer) 
 
• International: 2 - 6 weeks (may take 8 to 14 weeks due to Custom delays)   Please note, Canada does not fall under the International shipping terms and may place orders through the web shopping cart. All other International orders (except Canada) must go through DeVorss for processing at this time until our website can handle multi-country fee structures for postage. Please contact DeVorss (service@devorss.com to place your order and obtain the correct shipping rates. 

UPS Shipping

• No weekend delivery; no P.O. boxes or APO/FPO
• Items may ship using a variety of methods, both air and ground
• Signature upon delivery required for shipments over $100

Acropolis Books offers shipping via United Parcel Service (UPS) for the Continental US only.  All other areas such as Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, Canada and International will be sent via the US Postal Service as a more effective method of shipping.   

Shipping to Prisons

Acropolis Books delivers to penitentiaries, but we strongly suggest you contact the prison first to confirm that they accept deliveries and to note any special regulations the prison might have. Most prisons don't allow delivery of hardcover books. Others place a limit on the number of items contained in a package.  
 
We're unable to affix any special labels or instructions to the packages.  On the outside Acropolis Books will indicate only the destination address, our company name, and our return address. We also cannot allow gifts to be sent anonymously to inmates; the sender's billing address will appear on the order invoice.  
 
Because inmates cannot sign for deliveries, packages must be sent via U.S. Mail.
